Nicolletta, AKA Camila g. Jettar, is a 23 year-old femme-fatale photographer from Montevideo, Uruguay. A double threat behind and in front of the lens, Camila takes raw, sexy photos that contain just enough fuck you to be effortlessly cool and naturally trashy without sacrificing any intimacy or forcing a style that isn’t already there.
What’s your average day like?
I wake up around 12pm, turn on the computer and check my email and the typical bullshit. Before eating I practice tai chi chuan (two days a week) and then go swimming. At 7pm Fermin comes home so I try to be there so I can give him a big hug. At night we both usually rehearse with our respective bands and then have some beers with friends or we just relax in bed with a good movie.

Why did you become a photographer?
In the punk scene you are usually into the arts in general – in your crew there is always that fella with the camera all the time, in mine it wasn’t me actually, hahaha, but we all were good at doing it…
But the beginning was some years ago. I went to London and I met a wonderful photographer from Suicide Girls from Italy -Alessandra Tisato- she said to me: “Hey darling, why aren’t you shooting for the site yet!? there is no one in South America doing it, the money is good, naked ladies around you, it’s lots of fun”. And that was it.

What kind of people do you like to shoot?
Pretty people, which to me means intense people who are secure with themselves. People with deep eyes. The trashy look is my favorite and I like white walls. Thanks to Terry Richardson for the inspiration.

What is the secret to taking sexy photos?
You must connect with your model.
What kind of people do you love?
True-hearted people, those who are still a part of the resistance.

Where is your favorite place on the planet?
I don’t know yet, I have to start traveling now! I want to visit London again, I just fell in love! and Berlin is such a magnetic place I think. Also, India and China are some important places for me, as I’m really into the Tao.
What I do know is that anywhere could be good if my man is by my side.
